In this section you can choose the publish format (SWF/FLV), add a navigation control and adjust some playback settings.
Flash Video Studio will automatically show you a preview and a bandwidth profiler window during the publication. Go here to know more about the Bandwidth Profiler. When the publishing process is finished, the Flash Video Studio will ask you to preview the output, to explore the output folder or to simply do nothing. Close the Bandwidth Profiler window by clicking the Close button.
To save the project file, click the File - Save menu. You can open this project file in the future to publish the same video using the same settings.
Flash Video Studio also allows you to publish a draft version of your video by clicking the Publish a Draft toolbar button at the top of the main window. When publishing a draft, the Flash Video Studio will only publish 5 seconds of your movie. You can alter this settings from the Options - Preference menu.

Produce a compressed/uncompressed SWF file You can choose to publish a compressed/uncompressed SWF file by checking/unchecking the Compress SWF checkbox.
Create a HTML file for the published SWF file You can choose to create a HTML file automatically together with the published SWF file by checking/unchecking the Create HTML checkbox. The HTML file will be saved using the same filename (with .HTML extension) on the same folder where your SWF file is published.
Upload the published output to a FTP site You can choose to upload the published output automatically to a FTP site after the publication by checking/unchecking the Upload to FTP checkbox. Then click the FTP settings button to type in the address, username, password and click the Browse button to connect to the FTP site to select an upload folder. These settings will be remembered for future publication.
Enable/disable the navigation control When you are publishing a SWF file, you can decide whether you want a navigation control to be published together with your movie or not. The navigation control allows your movie audience to fast forward, rewind, drag video frame slider, adjust volume, play/pause, etc. To enable/disable the navigation control, check/uncheck the Have Control checkbox. You can select a various navigation controls by selecting the listbox next to Have Control checkbox.
You can further customize your navigation control by adding a preloader, changing button color and movie title. You can also hide/show a specific navigation control button such as fast forward, rewind, volume slider, etc by clicking the Customize More button. Note: Some navigation controls might not be changed.
Changing the playback settings You can make the movie to stop at the beginning, letting the users to press the Play button to start the movie manually. To do so, uncheck Start at the beginning checbox. When you have the Start at the beginning checked, you can further decide how you want the movie to start by selecting the Starts listbox.
